Delivery and Returns Information

Orders placed Monday to Friday before 3.30pm we endeavour to despatch the same day for a next day delivery including Saturday via DPD Nationwide delivery service. Very rarely, delays can AND do occur. Orders placed after 3.30pm on Friday until Sunday night will be despatched on Monday Via DPD for Tuesday delivery. Please choose DPD Delivery option for frozen goods.

All our frozen meats are DEFRA tested to ensure they are safe to feed your pet. They are also safe to refreeze once, up to 48 hours after full thawing. While we aim to get your goods delivered within 24 hours (48 hours for some regions) of leaving us, DPD occasionally encounter delays. If your parcel is delayed but still delivered within 48 hours, we do not replace these parcels. DEFRA testing is in place for the safety of your pet and your reassurance.

As you will be aware, the current, unprecedented situation in the Middle East has had a major impact on oil prices globally.

In the last two weeks DPD have seen significant increases in the prices of diesel and they are now at a point where they have no alternative but to introduce an additional surcharge of 15p per parcel. Sadly we are unable to absorb this cost. The prices above reflect the increase. When (if) the surcharge is removed we will reduce the cost to the previous rate.

Please provide a mobile telephone number so that you will receive DPD notifications. If your order does not arrive on the expected day, please contact us at the earliest convenience so that we can look into it. Delays are rare, but they are more easily rectified if we are alerted quickly.

IMPORTANT: We are not liable or obliged to replace perishable goods that have failed delivery due to incorrect address/delivery details entered by the customer.

Please DO NOT change your delivery date, time or address once the parcel has left us. This WILL result in your parcel being delayed and likely thawed. We cannot be held responsible for replacements or refunds if this rule is not followed. DPD do NOT deliver on Sundays despite there being the option available on their app.

Should you wish to return non perishable goods. Please arrange this within 30 days.

Please note that delivery companies such as DPD are under extra demand after Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year. As an independent business we have experienced large losses due to delayed or missing parcels at these times, as we are NOT compensated for delayed/lost perishable items. Replacements are sent at our own cost. With this in mind we ask our valued to customers to plan ahead and avoid ordering at these times where possible. We may contact you asking to delay your delivery. Losses may lead to price increases and this is something we do our best to avoid. We thank you for your help and understanding.

 

We endeavour to despatch all non-frozen goods on the same day if ordered before 3pm. These are sent via DPD post put tagged as Royal Mail for price asjustment purposes. As we rely on DPD for timely delivery, there may be some delays encountered at busy times. Tracking information is not provided or available until delivery has been attempted. We can investigate missing parcels 10 days after despatch date. Please choose Royal Mail Delivery for NON FROZEN GOODS ONLY up to 2Kg. If you choose this option for frozen goods, your order will be cancelled automatically and refunded.

DRY goods under 2kg postage is £4.10

Local Collection

Please choose this option if you are coming to collect your order from our shop in Pocklington, East Yorkshire. If you are able to ring the shop to let us know when you would like to collect, we will endeavour to have it ready for you.

Discount Codes

All discount codes are single-use, we reserve the right to cancel orders where customers are using several email addresses per discount code. Please note we are an independent business, and abuse of discount codes may lead to price rises for all customers.

Returns Information and Terms

  • Returns are accepted on non-perishable items within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original condition.

  • We cannot accept returns on perishable or frozen food items.

  • Return shipping costs are paid by the customer.

Policy for Non-Returnable Items – Raw Food

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for perishable raw goods. Perishable goods are exempt from returns due to the safety of the product. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please get in touch with us and we will endeavour to help.
